The Annual Conference is organised at state level and is a very time consuming event which provides a much needed exposure to marine activities on offer, current changes in knowledge and regulations, as well as resource networking amongst a large number of colleagues.

2017 MTANSW ANNUAL CONFERENCE

Its official! The venue for the MTANSW annual conference is Lady Elliot Island.

Lady Elliot Island is a coral cay located at the southern tip of the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef. Situated within a highly protected ’Green Zone’ the island is a sanctuary for over 1,200 species of marine life and is known for its abundance of manta rays, turtles, amazing array of spectacular marine life and unspoilt coral reef. It is also a much loved excursion venue for many of our member schools.

The Annual Conference is organised at state level and provides much needed exposure to marine activities on offer, current changes in knowledge and regulations, as well as resource networking amongst a large number of colleagues. It is only available to financial members of our association.

The Conference will be held over Friday 19/5/17-Sunday 21/5/17. Cost will include includes air travel (ex Sydney) and Island costs. We are asking for initial indications of interest at this stage with deposits due late Term 4.
